NICO Insurance Zambia Limited (NIZA) was incorporated on 26th June, 1997 to offer general insurance services to the Zambian public. The company commenced operations on 1st November, 1997.

The company is a member of the NICO Group of Companies.

The Group’s corporate strategy  is  to  expand  representation and operations in the COMESA  region. Currently the Group has short-term insurance companies in four countries of Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
