NBS Bank Limited

NICO Holdings Limited acquired a 74% stake in the then New Building Society when it was privatized in 2003. This has now been transformed into a fully fledged commercial bank and renamed NBS Bank Ltd. In line with NICO Holdings philosophy of diversifying shareholding in its subsidiaries, the bank was successfully listed on the Malawi Stock Exchange on the 25th of June 2007. NICO Holdings still remains the Banks majority shareholder with a now diluted 50.1%.
