Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for. the position of Marketing Officer tenable in the Marketing Department of NICO Life in Blantyre.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing all the necessary support and ensure that all communications, advertising,/promotions and image building issues are implemented timely and consistently.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to prioritise tasks at hand
• Self starter who works with minimum supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets
• Ability to compile weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports
• A pleasant outgoing and presentable personality
• Team player

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor of Social Sciences degree or Business Administration with bias towards marketing. Those with Diploma in Business Administration should have at least two (2) years practical marketing and / or sales experience in financial services plus a qualification in Marketing (CIM).
