Profile

NICO  Holdings  Limited  is  a  financial  services  organisation   involved  in   the  business  of  general  insurance, life  insurance, pensions  administration, banking, mortgage  finance, lease  finance  and information  systems. As part  of  its  portfolio  investment, the  Group  is  also  involved  in  the  hospitality  industry, real  estate holding  and  shopping  centers  through  some  of  its  subsidiary  companies.

Each  of  the  subsidiary  companies  is  an  autonomous  operating  entity  with  an  independent  board  of  directors  and run  by  a  dynamic  management  team professionally  qualified  to  manage  the  particular  line  of  business. Each  company  has   a  branch  network  for  business  generation and service  delivery  in  the  major  centers  of  the  Country. NICO Holdings Ltd subsidiary companies are:

The  Group’s corporate  strategy  is  to  expand  representation  and  operations  in  the  COMESA  region. Currently  the  Group  has  short-term  insurance  companies  in  four  countries  of  Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda  and  Zambia  while  at  the  same  time  continuing  with  its  growth  strategy.

NICO Holdings Ltd was the first company to list on the Malawi Stock Exchange on the 11th November 1996.
